Modestly and for ever
It is very rare for the concepts of both the investor and the architect to overlap to such an extent from the very beginning as it was in this project. The apparently simple “drawing style” of the architect - Mr Paweł Kordalski - was in line with the dreams of the investors - minimalistic and modern. The materials for the roof and the façade were supposed to be “modest” and at the same time resistant enough to last “for ever”. The choice was simple – the slate and sheet for the standing seam - a truly “modest” combination that will last “for ever”. The investors wanted to give this seemingly simple shape a touch of modernity and they decided that the seams will vary in terms of width. Later on it turned out to be the right decision.
